This half term, get a fresh burst of creativity at the British Museum with a free, three-day festival designed especially for families.
Expect hands-on making, lively performances and stories from around the world, led by contemporary artists and performers. There’s no need to book activities, just drop in and join when you can. Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday 26 May: A storytelling session exploring festivals from across the globe
Wednesday 27 May: Traditional Morris dancing performances
Friday 29 May: A creative workshop inspired by spring, using clay, pattern and nature
Planning your visit
The festival runs between Tuesday 26 May and Friday 29 May, with different non-ticketed activities on each day. It is recommended to book a free timed entry ticket to the Museum in advance to help you stay up to date before your visit and give you priority entry at busy times.
Enter via the main entrance on Great Russell Street, and your ticket also gives you access to the permanent galleries, perfect for making a full day of it.
