Bringing a taste of Italy to the Piazza

The piazza refuses to dictate its own use. You can do everything, or nothing. You arrive for an espresso and are seduced into a passeggiata.

Taking our cue from Central Saint Giles’ architect Renzo Piano’s original vision for his building and piazza —an open space built for activity, for people watching, for coming and going —we transform the square into a modern Italian piazza for three Thursdays in August (13, 20 & 27th, 12-4pm).

Imagine sunny days spent people-watching in the piazza with gelato, fresh pasta, vintage vespas, bocce, lemon trees and live music filling the air.
