Big news for pasta lovers – Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is opening its latest London restaurant at Central Saint Giles, expanding its growing presence across the capital and bringing its much-loved fresh, handmade pasta even closer to the heart of the city.
Just moments from Tottenham Court Road station, the new spot offers a welcoming space to enjoy flavourful Italian dishes made daily on-site—perfect for everything from quick lunches to relaxed dinners, and making it an easy stop whether you’re commuting, shopping, or exploring the West End.
Set to open in late Summer/early Autumn 2026, Emilia’s will be the Italian heart of Central Saint Giles’ modern piazza, designed by Renzo Piano in 2010 (the architect’s first work in the UK), moments from the buzzing Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street and the West End theatres. The restaurant will bring a warm, inviting trattoria feel to the contemporary square, seating around 55 diners inside, and 25 on the covered outdoor terrace on the Piazza.
Signature Dishes and Seasonal Specials
Known for its beautifully simple, flavour-packed Italian dishes, Emilia’s has built a loyal following by doing one thing exceptionally well: fresh pasta, made daily. From silky tagliatelle to perfectly folded ravioli, every dish celebrates carefully sourced ingredients and traditional techniques, all served with a modern, vibrant twist.
The Central Saint Giles restaurant menu will offer all Emilia’s signature pasta dishes, based on their strict ethos of freshness and simplicity, alongside seasonal specials created exclusively for this location. Their famous pasta dishes will be the stars of the show.
Guests will be able to tuck into the most-loved recipes including Emilia’s signature 4-hour slow-cooked Pappardelle Béchamel Bolognese and the Genoa-inspired Casarecce homemade basil pesto amongst others.
Natural Ingredients and Handpicked Suppliers
As with all Emilia’s locations, the Central Saint Giles restaurant will feature a fully open kitchen with counter seating, bringing guests closer to the action. A classic bar, inspired by traditional Italian trattorias, will welcome diners. A custom-made pasta-making station, visible from outside, will offer passers-by a glimpse of the theatre of pasta-making throughout the day.
The new restaurant menu will continue the brand’s commitment to sustainability initiatives. All food is made with 100% natural ingredients and suppliers have been handpicked as Emilia’s strives to work with companies, farmers and growers who care deeply about their produce and practice sustainable farming.
